Anyone who knows me at all knows that I am a car junkie. But what they may not know is that cars are the reason I am a designer/art director.
Hot Wheels, Matchbox, car-related stickers, these were the gateways to a lifetime of addiction to shape, color, graphics and branding.
Logos like STP and Kendall Motor Oil, iconic racing liveries for Martini, Gulf and John Player Cigarettes, racing stripes, gum-balls, and roundels all became the graphic language I most identified with and still do to this day.
Below is what it looks like inside my head. And the only way to clear my head is to get them out through the end of a pencil. Enjoy.
